Gregory Page is a rarity on the contemporary music scene. Instead of searching for new, hip sounds, he harks back to the melancholy of the 1920s and creates beautiful, wistful songs. Page blends jazz, 1920s music, and folklore into a unique and beautiful mix, with a hint of Chet Baker in his voice. Although originally English, he has lived in California for many years and has been active for decades. With more than 20 albums to his name and contributions to countless others, he has built an impressive career. He has toured extensively in Europe and Australia, playing festivals, including the legendary Woodford Folk Festival in Queensland, where he gave four concerts. Gregory Page returns to the Blue Room Sessions stage in the Club Hall for the second time.
