Do you enjoy practicing Dutch outside of class, together with other students and teachers? Then the language café is perfect for you! We'll discuss a variety of topics in small groups. It's a fun afternoon with coffee, tea, and cookies. The students who are already participating are very enthusiastic! Who is the language café for? The language café is for anyone who would like to improve their Dutch. Discussing various topics with others is a fun and accessible way to improve your Dutch. There's also always a teacher present who can help with conversations. Even if you're not a student at SOB, you're welcome! You must live or work in Amsterdam. What are the opening hours? After the summer holidays, the language café will reopen on Friday of the second week of September. From that week on, it will be open every week, except during school holidays. It's always on Fridays. Please note: the time is always from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM. You don't need to register in advance. What do others think? The participants in the language café are always very enthusiastic. It's nice to be together, talk and get to know each other, and you learn the language in an accessible way. Where can I find the language café in Amsterdam? The language café is located at Borgerstraat 52A in Amsterdam, in the SOB building. When you enter, there are clear signs to where you need to go.
