More and more community centres have a community room. In the community room, you will always be welcomed by a volunteer. You can have a chat, participate in activities or, for example, be creative. The volunteers will give you a cup of coffee or tea. In the community room, you will meet new people or meet other people. Everyone is welcome. Almost all activities are free. Sometimes a small contribution is requested. Look under the Activities in the community centres section to see which activities take place in the community centre. Around noon, there is a lunch. This is organised by volunteers. They arrange the groceries and a set table. For a fee of €1.50, you can join in the fun. The community room can also be used to discuss new ideas and/or start activities. If you are looking for a fun activity but it is not yet offered in Almere or in your neighbourhood, then the community room is the place to discuss it. After all, the community rooms are known for coming together and doing things together. A community room is more than just a space. It is a space that is filled with people who come together and want to meet and get to know others. Will we see you in the Neighborhood Room? You can come alone or bring someone with you!
